Task 2 - Researching and Understanding - Pop/Jazz/Swing

Michael Buble Analaysis

In Michael Buble's album, crazy love, he comes across to the audience cool and relaxed with his line of sight looking rite at the camera. This involves the audience as they feel he is looking at them. His hands are in a unusual place around his face focusing the audience’s attention to his facial features, mainly his eyes. The sets white background gives a sense of cleanliness, freshness which reflects on the artist as being young and desirable. His skin is made to look quite bright and clean with no wrinkles or anything, which adds to his sense of youth.

His costume as far as we can see is a black jacket and a light blue collared shirt which contrasts to the yellow title strips.

I don’t think the white background is very significant as lots of artists have that now, but i think his hand positioning is very unique and makes his album very noticeable.

I think the image he's trying to portray as well as youth, is seriousness. he has a serious face and that goes well with the album title, 'crazy love', as it shows that his songs could be serious and relating strongly to him.
