This video by The Fray how to save a life, is aimed upon problems that occur every day for every individual such as loss, heartbreak and pain. As the song goes on it offers reassurance to the audience such as these two screenshots bellow:

This first photo, i think, has a double meaning. The phrase 'hold still' is referring to holding on to your loved memories as the person is holing a locket in the shape of a heart. Secondly i think it is saying hold still as help is on its way, u don’t have to be alone. This photo is quite monochromatic as the red heart locket is the only bright colour drawing the audience’s attention to it, emphasising the fact they lost someone they love.
This Second image is my favourite of the whole song. it is telling the audience to let go of their sadness and emotions and at the same time shows a butterfly taking off like although its being let free. This is sending a message to the audience telling them that letting go will free them of their suffering.
The mise en Scene in this is very interesting and works very well with the song. The costumes are mainly composed of blacks and whites which gives the sense of emptiness which represents their emotions. This alongside the scenery being a pure white background magnifies the sense of emptiness to an almost never ending feeling.
