Music Video Camera Angles - Pianist

Here are the some of the shots we will use in our video to film the pianist / lead singer.

Extreme Close Up

We want to use an ECU of his hands to show his skill and passion for the music he is playing and also to make the audience feel more involved.

Close Up

A CU shot will be used on the artists face as it will be perfect to help set the mood of the song by showing his emotions and feelings.

Medium Shot

We will use a MS to give a broader and clear view of the artist and also to show his body and face movements synchronising in time with his hands.

Long Shot

Using a LS, we will be able to show and focus on the artists stage presents awell as giving an even broader view of the stage.

Low Angle

LA shots are mainly used to represent high authority, confidence and strength. In our music video we use it mainly just to show confidence and strength.

High Angle / Areal Shot

These angles are used wither to represent low authority, shyness and weakness, but also to set the scene really well.
