Music Video Ideas

Scenes:
Main protagonist on piano.
Protagonist walking passed band members - band members are seen as a part of the scenery.
Female chasing protagonist through scenes, passes where the band members once were.
Flashbacks of protagonist and female together.

The scenes chosen for the band members:
Band members room where he is practicing guitar.
Band member performing in a field/hill on the drums.
Band member playing the guitar as if he was busking.
Protagonist playing the piano in a hall.

Scenes used for flashbacks:
Protagonist and female arguing in a house, seen as a couple.
Protagonist with his friends, in a town scene.

Split Screen

For our music video master shot we decided to use split screen to display all the band members. This will be done to show their different locations and lifestyle. Also giving a really unique effect. I found a really good video on YouTube which instructs how to do a split screen on final cut express.

Prop Checklist

Today we had a group meeting, in this meeting we made a checklist to take to our first filming date, the checklist reminds us what we need to take to the set, this will ensure we do not forget anything, as we have booked out the school hall and only have one booked appointment.

Video Timeline

For our music video we made a timeline of all the scenes involved as well as some of the shot. This helps us allot when we come to film our video as it gives us an easy, more clear route to follow as well with the storyboard.
